I jhope this missive finds you well. I first read/of you in the book “Kings Gambit” right around this time i started to return to chess after along layoff where i concentrated on my musical career i am, and have been a professional guitarist for quite some time now, mostly in the blues genre, although the groups i have worked with often fuse jazz and funk elements as well as rock with the blues. [see web site listed above for sound bytes and reviews of CD} as i stated above, i am just returning, both to the mid atlantic area and to chess after a long absence, while i wasnt away from chess altogether, i was not involved in tournaments, where as you know, one is able to more readily sharpen one’s tools, so to speak. i am also a writer, hence the writer’s blog stylusandpapyrus.blogspot.com…some excerpts from my literary efforts which include both prose and poetry are featured on said blog. i spend quite a bit of time in Rehoboth Beach Delaware and will be going soon to Philadelphia. i was wondering if you could recommend a chess club, or for that matter a good Indian restuarant. i hvae been away as i have said, for too long. i am also looking to correspond with any and all writers in the area, you included, if you wopuld deign to receive me. at any rate, i look forward to hearing from you.
